At the age of 20, Amelia Beard is studying veterinary sciences. She pursues this career to fulfill her passion for caring, treating and aiding animals. Raised on a ranch, Amelia has learned when we apply patience and an open mind for understanding we create the best circumstances for the best change. When not working at the local veterinarian hospital or studying, Amelia can always be found outdoors hiking, horseback riding or volunteering.

Ashley, 22, is no stranger to the stage. A senior at the University of Montana, she studies Acting, Costuming, Dance, and Entertainment Management. She is a Resident Assistant, Social Media Coordinator for Trendsetters at the U, and a member of UM Advocates – the University’s volunteer mentorship program. As a two-time kidney transplant recipient, Ashley plans to use her platform to inspire others that no matter your journey, you can achieve your highest dreams.

Ashley, 20 years old, is the perfect image of a Montana girl. Born and raised in the Treasure State, she grew up hunting, fishing, and skiing with her family. Ashley spends her free time with family and friends or being out in the mountains. Ashley is now an advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention in Montana while striving to be the kind of role model children can look up to.

Courtney is an aspiring videographer studying Media Arts. In 2016 she served a 19-month mission for her church where she discovered her purpose of empowering others through independent thought and self-acceptance. She has found personal empowerment through her involvement on the University of Montana dance team and her internship with Learfield-IMG college where she facilitates their dream come true program that recognizes children with health issues at UM’s football games.

DaveyJane grew up in the small town of Florence surrounded by her dogs, cats, horses, sisters, and parents. She started accompanying her dad on hunting trips when she was two, riding horses and a tiny four-wheeler at three, and modeling in local fashion shows by age five. DaveyJanecontinues to embrace the Montana outdoor lifestyle in all seasons but is now often behind the camera more than in front of it.

Faith, 20, is currently earning her Applied Business Degree in order to take over her family-owned coffee shop she manages in downtown Helena, Fire Tower Coffee. She has been in theatre since she was four years old and has been in over 35 productions. Faith encourages being uniquely yourself through theatre and the arts through her platform, Fostering Creativity. Faith was also honored with the title of Miss Montana’s Outstanding Teen 2016, the first pageant she ever competed in. She is excited to compete in Miss Montana USA for the first time!

Capitalizing on her experience as a black belt and Krav Maga instructor, Jami created POWERPresence. This free class is designed to help women discover their strength and self-worth through learning self defense. Jami is also a former sibling to foster children and volunteers as a CASA, an advocate for children in foster care. After graduating from Penn Foster University, she plans on traveling Montana as an Equestrian and Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner.

FLATHEAD LAKE

Rachel is a sophomore at the University of Alabama studying Political Science and Marketing with a minor in Public Policy on the Pre-Law track where she helped found March for Our Lives UA and is an ambassador for the Women and Gender Resource Center. She grew up in Helena, always having a passion for helping her community, which is why she has chosen the platform of encouraging civic engagement among young people.

MISSOULA COUNTY

Shannon, 24, is a reporter/anchor in Missoula for NBC Montana. She prides herself on working hard to build trust between viewers and the media through empathy and honesty. A natural performer, MacNeil spent over 15 years on stage though theatrical and dance productions. As an essential worker during the Covid-19 lockdown, she devoted her spare time at the Missoula Foodbank as a member of the COVID relief volunteer team.

Teagan was born and raised on the Flathead Reservation in the quaint town of Ronan, Montana. Fresh out of high school she began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a step in the direction of fulfilling her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner and opening and running her own medical clinic. Being raised in a family rooted in kindness and patience, Teagan has always been drawn to a lifestyle where helping others is a priority. She exercises her strengths by continuing to be involved in her close-knit community of her hometown on the Flathead Reservation. Growing up alongside the Native American culture has given her brothers and sisters of all likenesses.
