Miss Montana USA® & Miss Montana Teen USA® Pageant Information

The MISS MONTANA USA and MISS MONTANA TEEN USA pageants are official state preliminary pageants in the most prestigious pageant system in the world – MISS USA ® / MISS UNIVERSE ®

Miss Montana Teen USA will proceed to represent Montana in the Miss Teen USA ® pageant. Miss Montana USA will proceed to represent Montana in the Miss USA ® pageant. Upon winning the title of Miss USA, it’s on to the ultimate of pageants – MISS UNIVERSE ® .


DATES AND LOCATION

The 2024 MISS MONTANA USA and MISS MONTANA TEEN USA pageant will be held the weekend of June 15-16th, 2024 at the Petro Theater on the Montana State University-Billings campus in Billings, Montana.


THE COMPETITION

The pageant is divided into 3 categories: Evening Gown, Personal Interview and Swimwear (for Miss contestants) or Active Wear (for Teen contestants). There is no talent competition and no experience is necessary. In addition to the titles of MISS MONTANA USA and MISS MONTANA TEEN USA, other awards presented include: Spirit Award, Photogenic Award, People’s Choice Award, Congeniality Award, and Angelo Frasier Impact Award.


COMPETITION WARDROBE
Contestants will be required to provide their own competition wardrobe, including any necessary shoes and accessories:

  • Evening Gown
  • Personal Interview Attire
  • Opening Number Attire (TBD)
  • Swimsuit (Miss Contestants)/Activewear (Teen Contestants)

HOW TO BEGIN
Completing the registration process is easy and it secures you as an official contestant along with a title (e.g. Miss Electric City Teen USA, Miss Helena USA, etc.) you may select to represent at the state pageant. These titles are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Your title will be assigned and confirmed once your official application has been accepted and you have paid at least the Initial Title Deposit.
Complete the simple three-step process to become an official contestant for this year’s pageant:
  1. Submit your Official Contestant Application entry form online using this link: www.missmontanausa.com/apply-here/
  2. Complete a post-application briefing where you can ask the State Director any questions you may have about your pageant journey.
  3. Pay your Initial Title Deposit. Choose one of the following options:

At the state level, contestants and state delegates have the wonderful opportunity to help raise awareness and/or funds for numerous charitable organizations such as the Race for the Cure (increasing awareness of early detection), DARE (to keep kids off drugs), Best Buddies (dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships), Girl Talk (mentoring program for middle school girls), Sparrow Clubs (people helping kids in medical crisis) and many others. This is a wonderful opportunity for each contestant to improve upon her inter- personal life success and interview skills needed for today’s demanding goals and challenges. Participants include those that want to build upon their educational goals as well as Models, Actors, Singers, Dancers and other talented young women of all types.
